Water and Sewage

Please direct all inquiries concerning water services to the Water Service Counter located in the 2nd floor of Maebashi City Hall, or the Customer Service Center located on the 1st floor of the Water Service Department Office.

◆ Starting the contract for the supply

Please visit the Water Service Counter at Maebashi City Hall or the Customer Service Center and fill the form to request water supply (you can also open your water supply contract by calling them or filling an application online). The form requires you to provide the following information: your name, your address, the date you will start to use the water service and your telephone number. When you move into your new house, eventually open the water valves you need to start receiving water supply.

◆ Billing

Water meters are read once every two months. Notice slips indicating the amount of water used and the equivalent amount of money to be paid will be left in your mailbox. Please pay this bill by the deadline indicated in the notice.

◆ Payment

1.	Automatic Bank Withdrawal (application form included with the original application).
2.	In cash at any designated financial institution (bring the bill notice).

◆ Closing the contract for the supply

Please visit the Water Service Counter at Maebashi City Hall or the Customer Service Center and inform the officer of your will to end the contract for the supply (you can also close your water supply contract by calling them or filling an application online). The form requires you to provide the following information: your name, your current address, the date you will end water use, your telephone number and the address of the place you plan to move to.
