◆ How to use

The electricity can be used as soon as you move into your accommodation by simply turning the main breaker switch. There will be an application/notification postcard attached to the main switchbox. Complete this postcard and mail it to the Maebashi Branch of the Tokyo Electric Power Co. (TEPCO).

◆ Electricity supply

The electricity supply for Maebashi City is 100v/50Hz, the same as Gunma Prefecture and Western Japan. If you are bringing in appliances from outside this area, please check your appliances before use. Many appliances have an in-built converter, but some appliances will require a separate adapter.

◆ Billing

Power meters are read monthly. Notice slips indicating the amount of power used will be left in your mailbox.

◆ Payment

You can pay your power bills using the following methods.

1.	Automatic Bank Withdrawal (application form available from Tokyo Electric Power Co. Maebashi Branch)
2.	In cash at any designated financial institution (bring the notice)
