Many materials regarding water works are exhibited such as the feed-water equipment, tools, and the relief model in which you can see rivers and waterworks within Maebashi city at a glance. Additionally, the process how the water is provided to every home is explained on the panel. |

2) | Shikishima Park 3) Rose Garden

Shikishima Park has an area of 36.6 hectares, and has about 2,700
pine trees. In the north side of the park, there’s the Rose Garden
that grows about 7,000 roses with over 600 varieties and flowers of each
season. |

4) | Sakutaro Hagiwara Memorial Museum
 |
The museum is built restoring the home of Sakutaro Hagiwara which was in 2-1-17 Chiyoda-machi. Such exhibits as his pictures, replicas of his notebooks and diary, and the reprint of the first edition of books are exhibited. |

5) | Maebashi Sericulture Memorial Museum
 |
The museum is reconstructed removing the main building of the National Sericulture Laboratory that was built in 1912 (Meiji 45). It exhibits such as documents of silk raising and production tools from raising to producing the silk. It is designated as a prefectural important cultural property. |
